Where as the clinimix probably has an even amount of each ingredient. And my body is so used to my TPN that it had difficulty with the clinimix because it maybe didn't have enough of or too much of some ingredients. When I first had my own TPN patient, I used Clinimix E (with electrolytes) but the next dietitian changed the formula for without electrolytes
