My life partner had both her legs when we met, but used a wheelchair as a result of a drunk mowing her down at age 13 which resulted in many injuries. One leg had been crushed and was amputated aka a couple years after we met due to loss of circulation. We joked that her stump looked like a shark. Several years later she lost her second leg due to a MRSA infection that got into her blood. The MRSA eventually killed her, but we had 16 years together first. It took me awhile, in the beginning, to assure her I loved her despite her scars. She was the most incredible person I ever met and I loved her beyond reason. Two legs, one leg, no legs...didn’t matter. What did was the state of her heart and soul. Thank you for writing a story that takes me back to the love we had, no matter what anyone else thought

I bet you think the hot tub chemicals kill germs. It kills the weak germs. The really potent lethal mother fuckers, just makes them more potent and lethal. Share a hot tub with someone who has MRSA and be prepared for months if not years of struggling to heal, or even survive. And to introduce those bacteria into April's ass, a perfect shit storm is not even a funny pun.
If you want the couples to become promiscuous just do one of the strip poker plots, or maybe the spin the bottle tropes, or just have them both sneak and cheat without the other spouse even knowing. I remember one of these swapping stories where the two couples finally decided to switch partners for life. Hey, why not, its just sex. Its not like any of these people take marriage seriously.

I beg to differ to y'all who think this is unrealistic - many people can't afford a lawyer, and if your opponent does, then all of the manipulations of the law possible will more or less guarantee your misery.
Retribution was dealt to the dentist - I assume you BTB types (bastard in this case) are happy - all the broken bones and botched joints are no fun. The lead did however end up paying for it - or his ex-wife did, in the subsequent divorce. If it made much difference, is something the author would have to decide.
The wife was not a stable person. The wife was never a stable person. However, there was this baby on the way.... and it worked for a while. I did say to a friend that the problem with getting involved with a lunatic (and she was a very cute lunatic) is that you can never, ever, be a lunatic yourself. You are on, 24/7, or it doesn't work. Here, he tried but MRSA laid him low, and then the cracks widened.
An understandable story, if the message was a bit grim perhaps it was necessary.
I'm surprised the dentist married her. but he was a nut case as well.
And those who think that the people this kind of thing happens to don't count... well, let's hope they never run things.

Sorry folks, but today was SUC-TACTIC!
I went to the General Practitioner at 9:00 am for my 6 month check up (and to check up on what had happened at the start of the year). It seems I've developed a respiratory infection so I was given some of those horse pill to fight it (Azithromycin) ... which came with THREE Level Three drug interaction warnings ... including the freaking risk of death ~ when in league with my Clozapine ... WOOT!
Next I learned my Urologist has 'misplaced' the initial files on my testosterone prescription ... which came from my Endocrinologist years and years ago. Now I have to wait for two weeks (and two blood draws) to show I have low-T so I can have the pleasure of my wife injecting me in the tush every Monday night. Until then I will be running around with less energy than I am currently struggling with ... DOUBLE-WOOT!!!
And lets not forget I am having to remove all caffeine from my diet as well so I'm already pretty much a walking zombie ... Triple woot?
Lastly, thanks to snow last week, I have my entire family in the house until FRIDAY ... which is stressing out my normally hermit-like nature. I love my kids, but at the moment my daughter is working on her cosplay outfit for Animazement which she does in my Man-Cave because it has more room to spread out in. I'm slowly losing my ever-loving MIND!!!!
Progress report: Nothing really. I haven't done any constructive work in the past two weeks and very little before then. I am trying to put out a story I started on back in 2016 and I have a chapter and a half already developed.
I have done no work on the next chapter of Ebb Tide. I know where I want to go, but am unsure how I'm going to get there.

In the UK, Chronic disease patients didn't defer their routine appointments and care during lockdowns, because they were cancelled by the NHS hospital's as they were swamped with Covid patients taking priority (both during the 1st and 2nd lockdowns all I can say it was a complete clusterfuck in regards to ppe to protect nurses and Dr's (I worked in Neuro icu which became a Hot Zone icu because a) we couldn't remove tumours when it took 5 days to get results back saying that the pt had Covid during the 1st lockdown, and having major brain surgery and Covid would end the pts life ( Hot and cold Zones were hard to manage, no ppe to cold but the staff were coming into contact with asymptomatic/symptomatic Covid, getting it and passing it on to others including their families!! It was quicker to get MRSA results back!!(that didn't go away) And we still had people with winter flu normal influx during the 2nd lockdown. B) due to the lockdowns people were not having the type of accidents and head injuries we normally saw. So even cardiothorasic routine surgery wasn't happening (all transplantation wasn't happening either) so they became Hot and the other things were staffing levels, HCA's helped but a icu staff nurse were looking after up to 4 pts, all very critical on ventilators so staff from theatres were drafted in to work in ICU's, even surgeons were doing nursing as in their area's, no surgery was taking place. Chronic disease pts who were clinically vulnerable sheltered at home!! Then with FFP2/3 masks between lockdowns(and during and after the 2nd lockdown) have checkups, but worst 1st (the turn around Was VACCINATION for COVID!! And also encouraging flu vaccine uptake) I could go on but Covid has Not Gone Away so Please have your Covid boosters with flu vaccine when contacted!! So people are presenting with more advanced diseases/conditions and there is a massive backlog for ops, scans, treatments, appointments and so on. But for the 1st 2 lockdowns/waves, clusterfuck doesn't come close to describing the panic, lack of ppe, wrong type of ppe or out of date, magic up icu and hdu beds and staff!! And the Burnout....clapping didn't pay the rent/mortgage but decent pay would...

Ps. After the 1st lockdown for the UK as a whole, after that the devolved governments of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland had their own lockdowns and policies regarding healthcare and Covid. Difficult to say who fared the worst but it was England, and the anger at the gvt having parties at No 10 and lack of social distancing and masks, and Bozo's lack of awareness (shaking hands with Covid patients!!) And understanding, setting up Nightingale hospital's which the military built but not having the icu/hdu staff (already stretched in hospital's let alone staffing the pop up hospital's) which became post Covid recovery, the London Nightingale had 400 icu/hdu beds, only 61 patients was the highest number and they were post Covid recovery patients!! Waste of money and resources!!) Track and trace was a massive money pit and couldn't track anything or trace where the money went!! Also the England government giving ppe contracts to their friends who had never done medical before instead of firms who had for many, many years 🙄 😳!!! Won't go on as it's bringing on my PTSD.... *AM*
